Are you a bilingual customer service professional fluent in English and Mandarin with a passion for supporting
international business development? Our client, a 48-year-old biotech company based in East County, San Diego,
is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative I for their Asia Business Development department. This
role is vital in ensuring exceptional customer service to clients in the Asian market, and it offers an
opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and respond to customer correspondence and phone calls, including order processing and tracking.
Manage customer service for assigned and new clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Familiarize yourself with the top products and customers of the company to provide tailored support.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer specifications are reviewed and approved.
Stay updated on SOPs for Front Office/Customer Service and participate in regular meetings.
Assist with front office tasks such as answering calls and drafting documentation.
Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to meet customer needs, including occasional travel.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or relevant courses preferred.
1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a related field.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to draft and edit correspondence.
Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment with moderate stress levels.
