We are the long-time local dealer for a Hot Tub manufacturer with over 900 retail locations around the world, but which is based right here in San Diego County. We, the local dealer, are located in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, central to the county.
We're currently looking for a solid, friendly and reliable Customer Service Representative in our Service Department to join our cohesive team. We have a staff of Factory Trained Technicians covering San Diego County performing regular maintenance as well as repairs. The goal of the Service Department is to provide the highest level of service to customers in the field for all types of spa equipment repair, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, startups, etc. This is a nearly 100% desk position.
The basic qualifications are as follows:
DEPENDABILTY - Our Service Department currently operates Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (off and paid on major holidays). It is critical that a successful candidate be available during these hours, without restriction.
Strong customer orientation and Customer Service experience - Please have at least 2 years dedicated Customer Service experience. Your customer interaction will be mostly by phone, though there will be some level of face-to-face contact as well. Please be proficient in the ability to deal with the occasional challenging personality.
Excellent communication skills - the ability to listen and retain and to speak clearly and understandably, conveying accurately.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Solid computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook plus, the ability to learn a new program you've likely not seen before.
Maintain a work schedule for Field Technicians.
A valid California Driver's License is required and please have a reliable vehicle with which to get to-and-from work each day.
Basic knowledge of San Diego County is a must for logically scheduling Field Technicians.
We offer benefits, including Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, Health Insurance available after 90 days, and commission on certain items sold.
We offer a starting salary of $48,000 to 50,000 annually depending on experience. Periodic pay raises based on time & merit.
