Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Loss Mitigation Processor with a deep understanding of loan modification processes and programs, with the ability to manage both simple and complex cases for our law firm clients. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional with a proven track record of handling loan modification cases and navigating the intricacies of loss mitigation within the legal framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Overlooking, Training, and Managing a Junior Processor team that will assist with providing client weekly updates and conducting weekly lender calls.
Conducting a Financial Interview with each prospective client.
Manage and process loan modification cases from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is complete and accurate.
Review and analyze financial documents to determine eligibility for loan modifications.
Communicate with clients, lenders, and third parties to gather necessary documentation and resolve issues.
Prepare, submit, and track loan modification applications to lenders and servicers.
Monitor the progress of each case and follow up with the appropriate parties to ensure timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to loan modification and loss mitigation.
Maintain detailed records and case files in accordance with firm standards.
Provide regular updates to attorneys and clients on the status of cases.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in loss mitigation or loan modification processing, preferably within a law firm or legal environment.
Strong knowledge of loan modification processes, including FHA, VA, HAMP, and proprietary loan programs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings with clients and third parties.
Familiarity with foreclosure defense and bankruptcy processes is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
