Helix Water District (Lakeside, CA) is looking for a part-time Office Assistant (Guest Services) to join our talented team at Lake Jennings. This position is responsible for greeting and responding to customer inquiries, helping with camping reservations, delivering items to campsites and collecting payments.
Shifts are typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
You will typically work 15-20 hours per week with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours.
This position will not exceed 950 hours per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys the outdoors, is organized, and possesses administrative and customer service-based skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of one year of customer service experience.
The ability to demonstrate tact, patience and understanding when interacting with staff, law enforcement agencies, guests and those encountered in the course of work.
Experience with Microsoft Word is a plus!
We are looking for someone who is well organized, detail-oriented and able to work effectively within a team environment. Our candidate will be a friendly, professional, motivated and enthusiastic individual who has the desire to learn new tasks.
Is willing to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
