Wyndham Garden San Diego is hosting a job fair for the Housekeeping Department.
We're seeking entry-level candidates, with some level of knowledge within housekeeping or the hospitality industry.
Details for the following positions all entail professional people, flexible work schedule, hard working, detailed orientated, able to work in a fast paced work environment.

Housekeeping Supervisor
Room Attendants
Housekeeping Duties:
Cleaning hotel rooms, gathering soiled linens, replacing bed coverings, cleaning maid carts, answering guest requests, replenishing guest supplies, furnishing work equipment to clean rooms for Room Attendants, dusting furniture, waste removal, restocking of hotel amenities, and a host of other detailed responsibilities within the designated departments.
Picking up and delivering linens for guest rooms, restocking maid carts, emptying trash, waste removal, grounds keeping, some lifting to put products for guest in rooms, along with assisting Laundry facility with linens.
Room inspections, cross referencing room standards, running boards, overseeing Room Attendance daily discrepancy reports, documenting time edits, and a host of other Supervisor duties to ensure that departments roles are being implemented.
Additional Requirements/Responsibilities:
Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the housekeeping department or related field. 1 year of Supervision within the housekeeping department.
All candidates must be 18 years or older.
All candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Valid ID required upon hire. E-Verify
Must have a positive customer service attitude, friendly outgoing personality.
Communication skills both written and verbal are a must!
Detailed orientated person is key to the elements of these positions.
Flexible work schedules are required for some positions, (Weekends, some holidays,).
Ability to work amongst various diverse groups of people.
Bilingual candidate a plus! Not required.
May need to work with various pieces of equipment.
Physically healthy individual, lots of walking throughout property.
Ability to lift or carry up to 15lbs.
