We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher for our 2/3 year old classroom. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will play a crucial role in their early education, helping them develop essential skills and fostering their love for learning. We are a small Christian based preschool. No more than 10 children in a classroom and usually less. We are looking for teachers starting in August for the school year ‘24/’25. Must be able to work at least 3 to 4 afternoons a week until 4:30. Hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm plus 3 to 4 days a week until 4:30.
```Responsibilities```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the best possible educational experience for each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development
```Experience```
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child welfare and development principles
- Ability to educate and engage young children in learning activities
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Must have 12 Early Childhood Education college units
- Strong behavior management skills
