Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito Summer Adventure Camps
(Carmel Valley, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas)

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito Summer Adventure Camps is looking for positive, energetic people to join our Summer Camp Staff. Our camp program serves youth ages 5-15. Join us this summer for a fun filled action packed adventure!
Must be available to start work June 13, 2019 and continue thru August 23, 2019.
Must have flexibility to work shifts between 7:30am to 6:00pm, Mon-Fri., 25-40 hours per week.

We are looking to hire multiple employees for the following positions:
Adventure Day Camps Staff Must be capable of following lesson plans and implementing summer camp programming and activities with campers on a daily basis including but not limited to; arts & crafts, sports, games, computers.
Hourly pay for Day Camps ranges from $12-$12.50/hr based on experience.
Specialty Camp Staff Looking for individuals with experience/expertise in the following: (Applicants willing to move between all camp types a plus.)
Hourly pay for Specialty Camps ranges from $12.00-$15.00/hr based on experience.

MULTI-SPORTS (Soccer, T-Ball, Basketball, Football), CHEER LEADING, DODGE BALL, FLAG FOOTBALL, WATER SPORTS (Surfing, SUP, Swimming), YOUTH FITNESS (Boot Camp or Group Fitness instruction for children)
Also looking for applicants interested in driving Boys & Girls Clubs vans to transport our youth members back and forth to our camp locations and various locations throughout San Diego each day. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with children.
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification (All staff must be certified prior to start of camp. We provide 2 training dates prior to the start of Camps for those needing certification.)
- Must have a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and be able to relate with children
- Must be dependable, a team player, and work well with peers
- Must be able to work in an active/physical environment with campers within our program guidelines
- Must be able to physically participate in field trips that may include swimming, walking, amusement parks
- Must have good communication skills and ability to speak with parents and members on a regular basis
- Supervise and ensure a safe environment for all campers at all times
