Looking to hire a positive and well-educated early childhood teacher that enjoys working with young children ages 6 weeks - 2 years of age. This teacher will be working cooperatively with other teaching staff to meet the physical needs of the children, in addition to completing other tasks:
-Planning and implementing curriculum
-Communicating with parents
-Maintaining NAEYC standards in the classroom
-Implementing health and safety standards
-Being a part of a teaching team and working cooperatively with others
-Creating a warm and loving environment in the classroom
-Documenting class activities daily (i.e. sleeping, mealtimes, and curriculum)
-Creating evidence of learning boards that properly display photos, art, observations, and descriptions identifying developmental areas targeted
-Assessing each child's developmental growth
Applicants must have at least one year of experience working at an early childhood center/school, are CPR/1st Aid certified, and have completed at least 12 units of early childhood education/child development courses. A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred. Can only qualify for this position if the above criteria are met. Also, the Infant and Toddler Development course from a college or university is highly desired.
