Description: Our client is currently seeking a Design Verification Engineer
ASIC Design Verification Engineers (all levels) for Wireless Communications
short term (3-6 month) Design verification contractors
Basic qualifications:
BSEE is required. MSEE in electrical engineering with desired experience in cellular
modem RTL ASIC verification, or Vector Processor verification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
In a multi-site project team, you are working on the design verification of mobile
baseband physical layer. This encompasses the following tasks:
Define testbench infrastructure using System Verilog, UVM and Formal
Responsible for chip level verification of high performance, high speed, low power SoC
and design IP
Work closely with system architect and design managers to architect a design verification
environment and produce verification closure
Lead the development of comprehensive, flexible, and portable block to subsystem level
testbench, detailed test plans and coverage closure.
Experienced in DSP (signal processing blocks), AHB, SPI, ARM programming and mix
signal simulation is a plus.
Infrastructure work including developing scripts, methodologies and tools for efficiency
and quality improvements
Required skills/tools:
Experience with ASIC/VLSI verification methodology and a track record of complex, DSPheavy design verification at block level and subsystem level. Required skills include:
UVM based verification flow, assertion and formal verification.
Test bench bug tracking and regression mechanism.
Ability to setup verification strategies based on directed and random testing.
Code and functional coverage-driven verification.
Formal verification with abstraction model for end-to-end checking.
Self-motivated, good communicator, quick learner and good team player.
