Position Overview
As an Interior Design Assistant, you’ll work directly with our lead designer, providing essential support in the creative process and day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about high-end design, is highly organized, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories
Maintain project schedules, manage timelines, and help coordinate with vendors
Conduct research for materials, finishes, and suppliers, aligning with our commitment to unique, quality storytelling elements
Support in sourcing items with a strong origin story, connecting with artisans and craftspeople
Organize samples, swatches, and documentation for project presentations and client meetings
Assist with onsite installations and ensure meticulous attention to detail
Prepare and assemble design presentations in Adobe InDesign
Manage logistics, including product orders, returns, and inventory tracking
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in interior design or a related field preferred
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for creating professional design presentations
Passion for luxury design, storytelling, and creating spaces that evoke emotion
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities
Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) is a plus
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
