We’re seeking a Junior Designer / Permit Assistant who’s passionate about drafting residential spaces, preparing permit plans, and seeing projects move from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with ADU and residential design plans (site plans, layouts, elevations)
- Prepare submittal packages and coordinate with city departments
- Research property details, zoning, and setbacks
- Support revisions and updates for plan-check comments
- Organize drawings, files, and project documentation
- Visit job sites for photos, videos, or field measurements
- Communicate with city staff, consultants, and team members
- Help bridge the gap between design, permitting, and construction
Skills & Tools:
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software
- Detail-oriented and organized in documentation
- Understanding of residential construction or city permitting
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Willing to learn project management and real estate development
Bonus Points If You:
- Are bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Are studying or recently graduated in Architecture, Design, or Construction Management
