Department: Fabrication/CAM Engineering
2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm). Training may take place on first shift hours (7:00am - 3:30pm).
Position Description:
We are an electronics manufacturing company located in North San Diego County looking for hardworking and quick-learning individuals for position in CAM/Planning Engineering.
For this entry-level position, we’re looking for individuals who work well in teams but are also able to work independently. Each trainee will learn how to detect problems, use CAM software, and read prints along with daily duties. Opportunities are available for advancement into a career position.
Responsibilities:
The candidate would input customer electronic data into our CAM software for review. Then check the data against our manufacturing guidelines while developing a build sequence/traveler for the manufacture of that specific job. The CAM/Planner would create and output tooling programs for CNC machines.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year minimum experience in PCB manufacturing environment preferred
Positive attitude, a strong work ethic and ability to adapt and learn new processes and procedures
Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
Course work in Engineering area or equivalent
CAD/CAM Software experience
CAM/Planning Engineering experience (preferred)
