About the position:

US3 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Controls) to join our team.

Duties Include: The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. Support the design, development, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of control systems for Cities.

Hands on development, test, and troubleshooting.

Technical leader for engineering projects including PLC Controls, embedded systems, and wireless networks.

Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, software, QA)

Establish repeatable manufacturing processes and inspection plans.

Participate in and lead design and peer reviews.

Maintain high standards quality within the team by adhering to good practices and habits of configuration control.

Process development and improvement.

Train and mentor engineers and other coworkers

Required Qualifications:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar.

7+ years of work experience in a related field.

Experience with the following:

o Creating and interpreting drawings, schematics, and other technical documents.

o Hands on testing and prototyping using common electrical tools

Ability to present information to a group.

Ability to generate detailed reports.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Project management and leadership skills

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with the following

o Electrical systems design, integration, and test.

o PLC programming and testing.

o RF design and test.

o Part selection and sourcing.

o Power systems, motor control, batteries, sensors.

o Integrating electrical control system software and systems.

o Quality inspections and improvements.
