REVERENCE ENGINEERING seeks an
Experienced project engineer with strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills to join our team and lead structural design efforts with our San Diego Team!
In general, the right candidate should have a minimum 3 years of experience performing structural analysis with residential projects, have experience with CAD, be client-focused, and be able to work within a team. Although not required, the best candidate will have experience detailing and also have experience providing direction to detailers and drafters.
We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem-solving skills to join our energetic, ambitious, and growing company. The position entails developing structural deliverables, consulting on project feasibility from a structural perspective, performing site visits to review potential scopes, and performing site visits to review and analyze conditions in support of projects. The position also involves training and developing other engineering team members.
At this time, our firm primarily focuses on design and providing plans and calculations for residential projects such as new construction, additions, remodels, and ADU's, but we do see the occasional multi-family and commercial project.
Compensation (wages) will be based on experience. Expected annual compensation range to vary from $90,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience and based on a 40-hour work week.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have valid driver's license and private transportation
- Must be able and willing to drive personal vehicle (expense reimbursable) to client site visits.
- Must be a native English speaker or otherwise be fluent in English since this is a client-facing position.
Work Schedule:
- Full Time: Expected 40+ hours per week with 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM core hours.
