Do you have a passion for baking and love working with fresh, seasonal ingredients? We're looking for an Experienced Baker to join our team at a farm-to-table bakery and restaurant in beautiful Encinitas, California.
As part of our team, you’ll create delicious pastries, breads, and baked goods from scratch while working with fresh, seasonal produce sourced directly from our farm. Your role will be centered around morning bake for the cafe, including but not limited to managing dough preparation, proofing, and baking with precision, ensuring every item meets our high standards of quality. You'll also keep your workspace clean and organized, following all health and safety guidelines, and collaborate with the culinary team to explore new recipe ideas.
We’re looking for someone with proven baking experience, particularly in bread-making and pastries, who can handle an early morning start time of 3:00 AM. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while multitasking are essential. Familiarity with farm-to-table concepts is a plus, but above all, we’re looking for someone with a passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
