Common Stock is a casually sophisticated neighborhood restaurant + cocktail bar, where approachable American favorites are made from scratch with obsessively sourced ingredients, and served with great efficiency to ensure an exceptional dining experience. Served alongside scratch-made cocktails with house-made syrups and infusions, we highlight elevated, yet casual American food inside an upscale, bar-centric setting.

Featuring California's best chicken sandwich for two years in a row, Common Stock prides itself on applying an eye for detail, a knack for efficiency and high standards of execution to otherwise common American food items. We consider our many regulars to be more like an extended family, and we have gained a reputation as a consistently great neighborhood joint, with regular nods from Eater, The Hillcrest Honors and San Diego Mag for everything from our vegetable dishes, to cocktail menus, happy hour offerings, brunch dishes, or our legendary fried chicken.

We aim to fill out our service team with dedicated professionals, who have a genuine passion for providing warm, kind service to each of our guests, both new and old. Inside our environment, it is essential that each staff member be able to bartend as well as serve tables, as you are often tasked with doing both. Our environment is one of constant teamwork, where both the front and back of house are creating an amazing atmosphere together, so that each guest feels at home, and feels well taken care of.

Experience is recommended, but not necessary given a hard-working attitude, an ability to learn quickly, and a passion for excellence. Individuals of all skill levels should apply, as we could have multiple positions available, given the right candidates. The restaurant is open daily starting at 4:30PM for happy hour and dinner, with brunch on the weekends. Sunday availability is a non-negotiable.
