Successful growing group is looking for a talented Executive Chef to spearhead the opening of their new high caliber Mediterranean concept that will feature coastal Greek influences. With a gorgeous design and aesthetic, there will be a robust high end intimate on-site event aspect to the role as well.
Past experience with seafood and Greek cuisine a must!
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
Lead opening - including menu, hiring, development, establishing SOPs
Proactively managing costs and budgets
Closely collaborate on R&D and menu development with leadership
Train, and develop the culinary team to grow to their highest potential
Treat employees and staff with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition
Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:
3+ years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-caliber concept
Strong background in respected chef-driven restaurants
Greek cuisine experience a must, seafood specialty highly preferred
Forward thinking with an eye on current food trends and seasonality
Expert knowledge of P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on holidays
Compensation Package Includes:
Base Salary in the range of $90-110k
