FULL TIME LINE COOK
This is a rare opportunity. You will get to work side by side with chef Vincent Viale.
We are looking to add the right line cooks to our team.
We are seeking a friendly individual who can also handle multiple tasks at once and execute them flawlessly.
You must, be a leader and team player, have a very good sense of priority and organization, as well as fine dining experience. You must understand the rules of service as you will be required to apply them on a daily basis.
Knowledge of French cuisine is not required but definitely a plus. Candidate must have a strong willingness and desire to continuously learn and evolve.
Self discipline and motivation is a must. This is not a position for someone looking just to "come in, do the job and quickly leave". We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual (food must be the number one thing you want to talk about and want to learn about).
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 years experience in fine dining/detailed/upscale kitchen, is able to run and manage a station, including fish and meat butchery. The candidate has knowledge of sauce and vegetable preparation, must be able to manage and handle stressful situations and last minute requests.
The applicant should work quickly and be able to multitask while still maintaining attention to detail.
Our kitchen consists of a small team, and candidates must be team players looking to make a positive impact, and understand that every member is a key player. Candidates who are self-motivated, enjoy challenges, and strive for perfection are encouraged to apply.
