We are San Diego’s first specialty coffee roasting company hyper-focused on hospitality just as much as we are on building an amazing coffee program. We aim to pride ourselves on sourcing the finest single origin coffees from around the world that we carefully roast and brew to perfection in a carefully curated space designed by one of San Diego’s premier interior designers.

We are seeking two hospitality-minded all-stars to join our team as we near our summer opening. Specialty coffee experience is desirable but not a must as we have an awesome training program in place that will cover specialty coffee history, extraction theory, sensory evaluation, pour over brewing, espresso brewing, milk texturing, quality control, and more.

The position is multi-faceted as you will be trained on responsibilities split across retail cafe, eCommerce/Social Media, and roastery operations.

This is a full-time position and the initial availability required is Monday through Friday, during an 8hr window between 7am - 6pm for the initial 90 days. After 90 days we will be adding weekend shifts to our schedule.

Compensation during an initial one month of evaluated skill training will be $18.00/hour.

Upon completion of evaluated skill training, compensation increases to $21.00/hour + tips for a 60 day evaluated performance period.

Upon completion of the evaluated performance period (90 day mark), compensation increases to $22.00/hour + tips.

If no training is required based on an initial skill evaluation at the time of hire, compensation starts at $22.00/hour after initial thirty days. $25.00/hour after initial 90 days.

Paid time off and a basic benefit package will be offered after six continuous months of employment. Skill based evaluations will also be made throughout the year for incremental pay raises after six continuous months of employment.

Must be able to lift twenty-five pounds, unassisted.

Must be able to stand on your feet throughout an eight hour shift, daily.

Must be able to continuously evaluate coffee & beverage quality throughout an eight hour shift, daily.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

Must be punctual and professional.
