As a host, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless seating arrangements in alignment with the restaurant's commitment to hospitality and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Must be available to work weekends
Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
Maintain a professional demeanor, voice, and tone at all times, reflecting Malibu Farm's standards of hospitality.
Manage reservations using resy and seating assignments efficiently, considering guest preferences while simultaneously keeping the reservations platform up to date.
Communicate effectively with the back of house and serving staff to ensure smooth transitions between tables.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess station and lobby area.
Collaborate with the management team to address guest concerns and optimize guest satisfaction.
Always uphold Malibu Farm's standards of hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hosting or customer service role is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
