Kitchen Assistant for Italian Specialty Shop : 25-30 hours/week
Monday- Friday, 9-5. Possible occasional Saturdays. Must be reliable and able to work holidays.
Duties & Core Competencies consist of:
- Assisting kitchen personnel with prep work, cooking, cleaning, among other duties assisting other manufacturing personnel
- Experience working in professional kitchens and knowledgeable of basic kitchen machinery operations
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions with accuracy and consistency
- Very clean and follows all food safety requirements with high attention to detail
- Work independently in a busy environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to adapt to kitchen needs
- Work well as a functioning member of a team and have a good attitude
Other Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Food Handler card
- Be punctual and have reliable means of transportation
- Physical ability to lift 40lbs
We are offering $18-20 depending on experience/hr. Health insurance benefits after 90-day probation period.
