Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Kitchen Staff Member to support our kitchen team. In this role, you will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure the quality of dishes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their culinary skill set in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the team in prepping ingredients for Vietnamese dishes, sushi rolls, specialty appetizers, beverages. Properly learn and execute all of our recipe procedures

- Assist in plating dishes with care and precision, following the restaurant’s presentation guidelines.

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulation, including workstations, counters, and floors

- Clean and sanitize kitchen space, equipment, utensils, and dishes

- Perform basic kitchen tasks, such as washing and chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment.

- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

- Requires following verbal and written instructions, guidelines, and objectives

- Ability to clearly communicate operational concerns with Management and co-workers (Vietnamese is a plus)

- Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment required; experience with Asian cuisine and/or sushi preparation strongly preferred.

- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
