Job Summary

The Lobby Tiki Bar & Grill is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our restaurant's standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.

Assist in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.

Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.

Support the culinary team in maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or kitchen setting, is preferred.

Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.

Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, menu planning, and culinary skills will be advantageous.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a busy kitchen environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
