Are you an experienced cook/chef looking for a unique challenge? Join our team at the Mission Bay Yacht Club and take your culinary skills to the next level!
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, to prepare a successful team for the Spring Season. I am the new Chef at this club and my goal is to create a new and updated culture from within. It is also my goal to find those who are passionate about food and enjoy a family environment when working. This is Part-time position but could lead to Full-time if you are a great fit for our team.
We are seeking an experienced cook who possesses excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This individual must also have a passion for creating delicious meals, an understanding of how to prepare food according to recipes and specifications, the capability to maintain a clean and safe work environment, and the skill to monitor food production to ensure quality and timeliness.
Additionally, our ideal candidate should be able to work well with others, be punctual and reliable, assist in the planning and creation of new recipes and menu items, stock and restock food items as needed, and assist in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
