We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sushi Chef to join our culinary team at our Sushi / Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant’s brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day culinary operations.
Coordinate food and kitchenware orders.
Check freshness and quality of ingredients.
Standardize recipes and plate presentation.
Work with management to create a memorable experience for quests.
Communicate effectively in English with the culinary team and restaurant staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields.
Knowledge of cost and labor system.
Passion for food and cooking techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Starting pay will be based on experience. $20/hour and up.
