Oyster and Pearl Bar Restaurant is a restaurant in La Mesa, Ca serving casual fine dining, organic, locally sourced, and sustainable food whenever possible. We are now hiring passionate, friendly and hardworking team members. Positive attitudes are a must!

HIRING ALL POSITIONS

BOH: Line and Prep Cook, Dishwasher

FOH: Bartenders, Servers, Support, Host

Dishwasher: Janitorial and supportive kitchen tasks, washing dishes and appliances, emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, sorting linens, restocking items, and performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean and prepared for guests.

Prep Cook: Prioritize and follow prep list that changes daily, communicate with chef on timelines of projects and product needs. Prepare foods by washing/chopping vegetables, cutting meats ect. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, all while complying with safety and sanitization guidelines. Sunday availability required.

Line Cooks- at least 1 year experience in high volume restaurant, completely open availability (Sun Brunch included)

Must follow instruction and prioritize various task

Attention to detail and sanitation standards

Ability to work in hot and humid conditions

Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

Host:

Must be personable, charismatic, and warm, even while under extreme pressure. Experience with OpenTable is preferred. Must be available to work weekends.

Bartenders & Servers: 2 years or more fine dining experience. Extensive food, wine, crafted cocktails and spirits knowledge preferred.

Must follow instruction and prioritize various task

Attention to detail and sanitation standards

Must be able to multitask

Must be able to communicate clearly with guest, servers, managers and kitchen

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds

Open availability desired.
