Baker position open at a small, local cookie bakery in Barrio Logan, San Diego. We are looking for energetic team members for long-term employment. We are a small team seeking reliable team players who support each other for our shared success. Great attitude, fierce work ethic and willingness to learn is a must.
- 2 or 3 days a week with potential for more, with a COMMITMENT to planning ahead and adjusting hours for successful order fulfillment every week. We are growing, and hours will increase as our bakery grows :)
- Current shifts available are Tuesday and Wednesday, and some Fridays 8:30am - 4:30pm or until work is complete. Shifts are generally 8 hours. Other shifts also available/needed and can be scheduled flexibly. We are a small team and need to make the schedule work for everyone, and work as a team to get the orders done.
- Candidate must be attentive to detail, consistency, and be willing to learn our methods so our cookies turn out perfect every time.
- VERY fast moving, focused worker that upholds the work ethic of the team.
- Comfortable lifting at least 50 lb bags of flour, etc.
- Positive, hard working, and flexible attitude for a scrappy startup!
- $16/hour during training, with progression to $18/hour.
- Must have reliable transportation and show up when scheduled.
- Must be legal to work in the USA and have (or be scheduled to earn) a food handlers card.
