Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Pizza & Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team FULL TIME.The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will work some days on the pizza station creating high-quality pizzas and other days in the kitchen at stations such as grill, sauté, and salad. Flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential, as is a commitment to maintaining exceptional food safety and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook pizzas to established recipes and quality standards, meeting customer preferences.
Work scheduled shifts in both the pizza station and other kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, and salad, as assigned.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated according to food safety guidelines.
Operate kitchen equipment—including ovens, pizza stones, grills, and sauté pans—safely and with precision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient, timely service during peak periods.
Monitor and manage ingredient and supply inventory; promptly report shortages to management.
Follow all food handling, hygiene, and safety protocols consistently.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with expertise in pizza preparation.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in a variety of food preparation techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Passion for cooking with a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
