We are looking for a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team at Kalei’s Kitchenette, a Hawaiian fusion grab-and-go restaurant that also offers catering services. If you have 1+ year of experience and are looking for a supportive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment by hand
Help with food prep following recipes and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized work area (kitchen, floors, and walls)
Assist with trash removal, cleaning, and sanitizing garbage cans
Handle kitchen equipment safely (knives, fryers, etc.)
Requirements:
1+ year of kitchen experience
Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods
Willingness to learn, follow directions, and work as a team
Able to commute to and from work
Valid Food Handler’s Card (or willing to get one during training)
Compensation & Benefits:
$17.50/hr + tips
