WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Tribute Pizza. We’re a neighborhood pizza joint in North Park, San Diego. We’ve been named one of America’s best pizzerias, but what is most meaningful to us is serving our community. We buy from our neighbors (the North Park Farmers Market is located just a block away every Thursday); their local produce is represented in every category on our menu, and we only make food that makes us happy. Everything on the menu is from scratch, prepared with love, with intention, and without compromise. Simply put, we make the pizza that we want to eat, that we want to share, which is inspired by and shares the traits of many styles of pizza from around the world.
THE JOB
We are looking for experienced kitchen professionals that are committed to this industry and are looking to grow with our company. Our team needs an experienced Prep Cook for full-time work. If you love this industry and want to be part of a team that strives for excellence, cares for one another, and provides stability, we would love to meet you.
Experience prepping in scratch kitchens is preferred. We're looking for someone that understands kitchen and knife fundamentals and can internalize and crush prep recipes quickly. Please let us know how long you've been prepping.
WHAT WE OFFER:
PAY
Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
Tips are pooled and generous, which add another $4-$5 per hour
Paychecks, including tips, average $23 total per hour, gross
BENEFITS

MediExcel Platinum HMO cross-border plan for full and part time employees (20-29 hours a week average).
EXTRAS
We provide complimentary staff meal everyday at 3pm
We offer a shift drink, ie a beer after every shift
SCHEDULE
8 hour long shifts, with 30 min breaks // We stay busy so you don’t get cut early and lose hours.
Shifts start at 7am and end around 3:30pm.
