Cal-a-Vie Health Spa is seeking a full time Public Area Attendant to team up with and provide support for our housekeeping staff in ensuring an immaculate environment and smooth housekeeping operation.
Located on 200 private acres in North County San Diego surrounded by an environment reminiscent of the French country side with rolling lavender hills and the sounds of nature, take a walk during your lunch break past our 17th Century chapel, windmill, and grape vineyards while taking in the scent of orange blossoms. We are close to the communities of Vista, Bonsall, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Escondido, Temecula and Murrieta.
Duties Include:
Removing trash and soiled linens from all guest rooms on departure days
Stocking housekeeper linen closets
Rotating mattresses in guestrooms
Maintaining the cleanliness surrounding the upper and lower pools and replenishing supplies as needed
Cleaning and shampooing carpets and upholstery of guest rooms and public areas
Cleaning windows
Cleaning chandeliers and other high objects
Restocking all building housekeeping supplies
Maintaining storage areas and housekeeping inventory
Requirements:
At least one year of experience as a Horseperson
Have general knowledge of housekeeping practices in a hotel/resort environment
Ability to operate a vacuum and carpet cleaner
Take pride in having a strong attention to detail, being organized and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work successfully with limited direction
Ability to get along with co-workers and communicate effectively
Understanding of health and safety rules
Dependable and ability to report to shifts on time
Open availability including weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Ability to regularly walk, stand, use hands to operate tools
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, climb
Ability to work with heights and work on a ladder
