Seeking polished & professional server/bartender for full-service historic eatery & bar. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. Serving a solid base of local regulars as well as tourists, we offer rustic, elegant comfort food, beer & wine, and craft cocktails. We host frequent seasonal & special events and there is opportunity to promote and/or pursue various aspects of the business for training and advancement. Strong servers consistently earn good tips.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting and sitting guests comfortably in the restaurant
Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from menus & specials lists
Taking customers’ food and drink orders; entering orders timely & accurately into Point of Sale System.
Collaborating with the kitchen and other staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer concerns promptly
Bussing of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prep for special events
Facilities/service area cleaning per checklists and schedules. Adhering to all Health Department Standards.
Weekend availability and reliable transportation are job requirements.
We are located in east San Diego County about 12 minutes east of Viejas, ¼ mile off Interstate 8. Day & Evening Shifts available.
