Clayton’s Bakery & Bistro – Coronado
Clayton’s Bakery & Bistro is a 1900s French–inspired bakery and bistro located in Coronado, with a heavy focus on natural & organic products.
We are seeking experienced commercial bakers and/or pastry chefs who are reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about their craft to join our growing team.
We are also specifically looking for an overnight donut maker with strong production experience and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and consistency.
What we’re looking for:
Proven commercial bakery or pastry experience (production environment required)
Experience with high-volume production while maintaining quality
Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset
Reliable, punctual, and consistent
Open availability, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
A desire to grow, learn, and build a long-term future with our bakery

Requirements to be on our Baking Team:
Must have Food Handlers Certification or willing to obtain prior to start
Flexible/open availability
18 years and older preferred (Due to industrial mixer)
Basic math and computer skills
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, weekend, and
holiday availability
Stand, walk, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods
