If you love cheese and enjoy a bit of organized and delicious chaos, then join the Venissimo Cheese monger team! We are looking for cheerful and organized food lovers that can take initiative to get things done and who enjoy helping customers discover new cheeses. Our position will allow you to learn everything you ever wanted to know about cheese, charcuterie and cheesy accoutrements.
We need mongers to fill part-time positions at our Del Mar shop. We would love candidates who would also be willing to sometimes fill shifts at our other locations. We prefer candidates with fairly flexible availability who are able to work weekdays, weekends and some evenings. You will be scheduled for 16-24 hours per week. Duties include cutting and wrapping cheese and charcuterie, party tray design and prep, cashiering, and most importantly, sharing the goodness and glory of cheese with customers.
Exceptional customer service skills are a must. Food or culinary experience is helpful. We are looking for cheese lovers who are passionate about food and excited to learn and willing to hustle!
