Copper Kings Burgers in San Marcos, CA is looking for one bartender to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 925 W San Marcos Blvd Unit B. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.
The Bartender is responsible for greeting and engaging guests as they enter the building, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, conversing with, and fielding customer queries as they arise, basic cash handling, and keeping the bar stocked. The Bartender will largely act as the outward face of the business - managing interactions with guests and ensuring they enjoy a positive experience at Copper Kings Burgers is of the utmost importance. Basic tasks that must be executed include:
Customer engagement
Greet arriving customers
Make sure customers are satisfied with food and beverage experience
Take drink and food orders
Check IDs
Run food when time allows
Cash handling
Double check till when received upon starting shift and report anomalies
Count down the deposit drop
Organize credit card slips
Count down closing drawer to standard allowance within $5
Bar Tending
Maintain a clean bar
Wash and polish glasses
Prep drink mixes and garnishes
Serve beer and wine
Change kegs
Update beer list
Restock bottled beers
Change soda bibs

The Assistant Baker is responsible for reliably producing consistent burger buns, and sandwich breads for Copper Kings Burgers. The Bread Baker will report to the Head baker and complete all baking-related tasks accurately and efficiently, to company specification. Basic tasks that must be executed include:
Bake and store standard burger buns
Pre-baking prep - Crack eggs, accurately scale ingredients, make starter
Bring together the bread dough according to Copper Kings specifications
Hand-roll buns
Proof buns
Bake to specification, managing ovens and tray rotation
Cleaning and maintenance
Thoroughly clean and manage all appliances,work spaces, and special tools needed for bread making
Properly store bread products / Inventory management
FIFO unused product
Consolidate and properly store product
Bag buns for retail sale

Qualifications:
At least 1 year professional baking, pastry, and/or dough-related production experience
