We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Canvasser to join our team. As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for engaging with the public and supporters to promote our organization and its mission.
This role requires good communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing, using an app on your cell phone and your own reliable transpiration.
- Communicate with the voting public in a friendly and professional manner while encouraging them to take a 2-3 question survey, and to ask for their support.
- Manage time efficiently to meet canvassing goals and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of canvassing activities through an app provided.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in door-to-door canvassing (we will train you if you are a beginner.)
- your own reliable cell phone with data and transportation are REQUIRED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus, but not required.
- Experience with marketing or customer service.
- Experience in fundraising and/or electioneering.
- Ability to negotiate and build relationships with potential supporters.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Wages start at $28- 30 an hour for the remainder of the season.
20-40 hours a week with a quota of 25 houses per hour.
