What You'll Do: As a Direct Care Aid, your primary focus will be supporting our residents in their daily lives. This includes:
Assisting with personal care activities like bathing, toileting, mobility, and meal support.
Offering emotional support to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and dignity.
Encouraging participation in scheduled activities to enrich their day.
Upholding residents' rights and reporting any concerns immediately to management.
Attending trainings and team meetings to continually improve your skills and care quality.

Have a heart for helping seniors, particularly those facing the challenges of dementia.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Bring reliability and dedication to each shift.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
18 years or older with clear CA Department of Justice background screening.
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain within six months).
Completion of basic and dementia training before working independently.
Physical Requirements: This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and assist in resident transfers. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and resident transfer assistance may be necessary.
