Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to assist individuals with daily living activities, support their independence, and enhance their quality of life. This role involves providing personal care, facilitating community involvement, and supporting clients in achieving their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping.
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles (preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required) and reliable transportation.
