The Royal Home is a small skilled nursing home in El Cajon. We’re a 19 bed locked-facility providing care for residents with mental illness.
We have a family-like atmosphere that is very different from a hospital environment.
We’re currently offering for
FULL TIME NOC SHIFT 12AM-8AM
Routine tasks include, but are not limited to: Vital signs, assistance with ADLs, keeping residents clean & dry, shower assistance, oral care, meals & snacks setup, laundry, completing flow charts, and assist with social activities and encourage resident participation.
What we’re looking for in a CNA that wants to join our team:
- Be Punctual! You must be on-time. You're expected to come in a few minutes early to receive handoff report from off-going shift.
- Be Reliable! We’re looking for committed team members and we can secure your shifts. We are not a registry company where you can call off frequently at your convenience. We understand when you're sick, emergency, and requested time off within reason and facility policy.
- Be a great team player. We’re a small group of family-like and respectful healthcare providers and want to keep it that way. Must get along and work well with others.
- Not required, but a plus if you have experience with behavioral management, patients with psychiatric disorders, dementia, or other mental health, etc
- You must be PATIENT. Behavioral management can bring some challenges as our residents often struggle with normal functioning behaviors. We have to be patient and understanding, while being able to redirect residents to more healthy adaptive behaviors.
