Hiring Dental Assistants (RDA & DA)
The Boss With The Floss, a holistic dental health concierge service is currently recruiting for a Dental Assistant. Our beautiful office is in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. We are looking for someone to assist with general and special care dentistry procedures. The ideal candidate must be a compassionate people person, have excellent customer service skills and be a good listener. We are looking for someone to join our team who owns a strong work ethic, is proactive, and desires to learn and grow. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
o Welcome/Greet and seat patients
o Assist the dentist during various procedures
o Open and close the back office as instructed
o Prepare operatory rooms and trays for various procedures
o Prepare and assist with behavioral management as necessary
o Possess extensive knowledge of instruments, materials, and standardized general dental procedures
o Advanced knowledge of OSHA standards and Environment of care issues in the dental clinic and laboratory
o Responsible for keeping rooms cleaned and stocked
o Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments
o Explain treatment plans to patients, register patients
o Assist with other duties from dentist and or office manager
o Knowledge and experience in practice management software and computer use.
Part time/Temporary
Pay Rate: Hourly pay based on experience
