VCC is an equal opportunity employer.ResponsibilitiesLocal San Diego North County Outpatient Clinic seeks Clinic Operations Director who will provide oversight and management various clinic operations; direct and supervise daily clinic operations including patient flow and program maintenance; ensure adequate coverage and mix of providers and support staff for excellent service delivery; and ensure compliance with all licensing and regulations. Join us and help your community!Job Responsibilities include providing direct supervision to managers assigned to designated operations, ensuring that all designated sites are operating efficiently and effectively, meeting production, business and organizational objectives and maintaining knowledge in all aspects of the designated operations and duties of all staff. Also to review staff and clinician schedules to ensure adequate coverage and mix of clinicians and support staff for service delivery, observe and monitor patient flow activities to ensure all patients are treated in a timely manner, ensure staff understand and follow all policies and procedures and have appropriate customer service behavior; ensure patient satisfaction. Participate in the development of new patient service programs and ensure smooth implementation and monitoring of programs and patient care systems and budget development and oversee department productivity, monitor revenue, visits and expenses to optimize efficiencyQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in healthcare fieldMinimum eight years’ healthcare experience in a medical clinic or other healthcare setting; experience and training in clinical systemsFive years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a Community Health Center/Federally Qualified Health Center.CPR certification (BLS – adult, infant, child)Knowledge in all aspects of medical clinic operations and duties of associated staff including reception, appointments, medical records, medical assistant, case management and referralsKnowledge of public insurance programsPreferred QualificationsBilingual English/SpanishComputer knowledge and proficiency with EMR, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointValid CDL, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance; minimum two years’ driving experience with no more than two violations or a single ticket/accident valued at more than one point on driving recordSkills and AbilitiesStrong interpersonal, written & verbal communications, and organizational skillsAbility to analyze, prioritize and meet deadlinesAbility to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the constraints of government-funded programsAbility to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stoop, and lift and carry up to 20 poundsPay Range: $95K-$105K PI259151177 Apply
