Well, I ammmmmm! OK, so experience is relative, but you need hands on experience with a high level disability! I’m 65, a Quadriplegic man of 45 years on total life support (trach/ventilator) . I have a couple of issues, but not life threatening. I am looking for an experienced caregiver and that includes some ventilator/trach/suctioning, ROM, Colostomy Supra Pubic catheter, HS Care, Transfers, full size van and the ability to communicate, etc. not all is necessary but at least 3/4. You also need to be under 50 yrs. My care is diverse, but not complicated for someone with Med experience, so you should have a good head on your shoulders, be compassionate, empathetic, talkative (ability to “Talk Story”, in shape (good physical condition), and have the ability to troubleshoot anything that comes up (quick study and a thinker). If you are afraid of life please don’t respond.
This job is not for beginners or someone who works multiple jobs. I have 3-4 days per week available, the first few weeks will be 2 days per week and then go to a 3/4 schedule . I pay $25-$27 cash per hr. depending on experience, (That is equal to a taxed $35 per hr. Job), the shifts are 7pm-7am, I do background checks so please don’t be a criminal, substance abuser, or anything that will make me say you’re freaking crazy. You should be able to tell me if you have had issues in the past, if you do, I’m pretty cool that way. I have a 3 day training period at 1/2 hourly pay and a 3 month probationary period. Please reply with a “Resume or the like” so I know what/who you are. Thank you for reading the entire ad and I hope to hear from you soon.
If you have read the entire ad please respond with “Heck yeah” and a resume or I will not be able to respond back.
