We are an Internal Medicine office located in the Windansea area of La Jolla.
We are looking for a highly professional, motivated, intelligent, certified medical assistant for front and back office duties. Candidate must be hard-working, detail-oriented, and a quick learner who is interested in providing high quality care. Must be able to perform in a busy environment and a willing to be a team player.
Responsibilities include answering multi-phone line system, scheduling, patient intake, electronic medical record documentation, insurance verification/authorization, collecting copays, inventory management and providing excellent customer service. Responsible for stocking of supplies, cleaning and set up of the examination rooms
We have a peaceful office and expect patients to be warmly greeted and leave feeling well taken care of.
Job Requirements:
Expertise in EHR charting, vitals, injections, blood draws, and processing labs.
Must be skilled using Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical records systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Starting wage: $21-$26 per hour depending on experience.
Our hours are M-F, 9am-6pm and you must have reliable transportation.
