Female Daytime Caregiver Needed (Mira Mesa)
We’re seeking a compassionate and dependable daytime caregiver for a patient in the Mira Mesa area. The role involves hands-on assistance and general support throughout the day.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay: $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
Mobility Assistance: Help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, transferring safely between bed, chair, and bathroom, and providing gentle physical support as needed.
Personal Care: Assist with bathing and showering, toileting, and dressing while maintaining respect and privacy.
Medication Support: Reminders for medications as directed by family or nurses (no medical administration required).
Monitoring & Comfort: Observe and report any changes in condition, pain levels, or mood to family or staff; provide emotional support and companionship throughout the day.
Meals & Hydration: Serve meals, encourage hydration, and assist where necessary.
Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens, and maintaining a calm, tidy environment that supports healing and comfort.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in senior or adult caregiving is required, CNA preferred
- Must speak and understand English, communication and engagement are essential
- Must pass LiveScan background check, TB clearance, and drug screening
- Strong professional references
- Caring attitude, excellent work ethic, and dependability
