This is a job, so there is work to do, I have listed a few things that pertain to my care. I am looking for an educated, physically experienced caregiver, not a babysitter. You should be a real person, not looking for a handout, you know and understand old school work, attention to detail, mentally available, physically healthy and mobile.

1. Hands on Personal Care (with feeling)
2. Range of Motion (Exercise)
3. Advanced CPR
4. ? Mechanical Ventilation (Hands on Ventilator knowledge)
5. Hands on (Sterile Technique) Tracheal Suctioning
6. Colostomy Care
7. Supra Pubic Care
8. TENS use
9. Trach Care
10. Cooking or how to cook
11. Understanding When and what to say!
12. Anatomy
13. Physiology
14. Common Sense
These are a few things, "Major Requests" and I understand that most Care Givers ARE NOT GOING TO KNOW MOST, but I really need someone who knows some! I am not looking for a "know it all" or yes man/girl, I am looking for someone who can learn and care what and why thev are readina this ad.

I am not looking for a "know it all" or yes man/girl, I am looking for someone who can learn and care what and why they are reading this ad, per se. I pay reasonably, I believe it is fair and most importantly what I can afford. Shifts needed 7am-7pm and 7p-7a Thursday., Fri., Sat. & noq Sun. Pay is $25 - &28 per hr. Depending on actual hands on experience.
Who am I?
Like I said I am a Quadriplegic man on Ventilator for the past 45 years. I do not do all that I used to, but my background is in Coaching, Athletics, Training, Building, Camping, House boating, Woodworking/ making furniture, Metal work, Art, Inventing (many products for the disabled). I contributed to the community for decades, but as of late it has become increasingly more difficult, however I do what I can and believe it is our purpose in life, should be to help humanity! I do not have a family, I do have sisters and other close relatives. My caregivers are family too, if they choose to be. I like going to concerts and parties when I can although they are becoming few and far in between.
Please message me if you have any questions. Thank you for reading this and I hope to hear from some great locals. Please enclose a resume or reasonable copy. I do background checks for this job and occasional drugs tests. And please share this with others who may be the right person.
