I’m a parent of 24 years old young adult, Daniel, with autism and seizures.
Right now we have an open position for part or full time LVN.
My son is non-verbal young adult who needs assistance with daily living skills like:
Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other self-care tasks.
Monitor and assist with medications, following prescribed schedules.
Provide companionship and build a trusting, respectful relationship with the client.
Accompany the client to appointments, outings, or errands as needed.
He is ambulatory and no lifting is required.
Daniel has great personality. He is very friendly and loving individual.
He likes to spend lots of time outdoor and in community - parks, beaches and recreation areas. But he doesn’t bolt or run away. He just likes to walk. Please only apply if you like to walk a lot. This is a great job for a nurse who likes to be active.
We are located in Carlsbad (close to Encinitas) and prefer to hire nurses who are local.
