I am searching for an in-home senior caregiver for my mother (age 81) in Santee. The caregiver is needed from about 9 am - 1 pm Monday through Saturday. The hours are somewhat flexible. We live in a single family home near Santana H.S. The role consists of companionship and assistance for my mother, transportation to the grocery store, light housekeeping, and communication with me and my mother's healthcare providers. The role could develop into a full-time live-in caregiver if the caregiver and my mother can work together. My mother has age-related and psych-related medical issues, so some experience with this type of caregiving would be helpful. I am planning to issue a W2 to the caregiver, so it is essential that the caregiver has a social security number and is eligible for part-time work in CA.
