Job Description:
We are seeking a Medical Assistant with experience working in both a clinic and an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be a multitasker, able to manage various responsibilities without becoming tunnel-visioned.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood and obtain medical records.
- Assist with admissions and discharge processes.
- Administer medications and document accurately in MAR and follow the POS.
- Manage and count medications, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
- Conduct daily visits with clients, assessing their needs and providing assistance as required.
- Use computer systems for documentation and communication.
- Support the overall care team in providing high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in both a clinical and assisted living setting.
- Proficiency in drawing blood and managing medical records.
- Knowledge of medication administration, including documentation in MAR and POS.
- Some Computer skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to providing the best care possible.
