Hello, I am looking for an experienced nurse/caregiver, licensed or licensed but not active! I am looking for a compassionate, empathetic, caring and knowledgable person. Health is high on my list, non-smoker, in shape, who truly understands Home Health! I am a quadriplegic man on life support, I'm in decent condition for being 38 yrs. post, I do have some skin issues, but nothing open... If you have lost your license, on probation or have anything preventing you from using I am ok with it, as long as you are taking care of your issues!
I used to be very active, but after 38 years of paralysis I have slowed down some, well a lot! I still do life, concerts, parks, dinners, toys, etc. You should be educated enough and in good physical shape to work with someone on life support, supra pubic catheter, medications, Range of Motion, massage, be on your feet for 3+ hrs. at a time, etc. You should be tall at least 5' 7", weight proportionate! I'm looking for full time positions 36-48 hrs. a week and part time , I need a team of dependable, good, happy, friendly, trustworthy people who don't work other jobs and are available for back up shifts if necessary. I would really like to find people with old school job ethics, not afraid to work, get your hands dirty, play with dogs, life stuff!
Right now I am looking for days & night shifts 7p-7a, 7a-7p 3-4 days per week and fill in. Please respond with "blue" in the subject box if you respond. Experience a must, I know your not going to know everything, but you need/should have some experience with home health, paralisys, ROM, Meds, Vents, LIFE!
