Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at Thompson Center for Dentistry. As an RDH in our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing preventive dental care and promoting oral health among our patients. With a focus on advanced procedures, including Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) and Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT), you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in dental care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments and screenings
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
Perform Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) and Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) procedures
Take digital dental x-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care measures
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's oral health needs
Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment coordination
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment procedures
Requirements:
Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of California
Laser certification for performing Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) and Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) procedures
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene techniques, products, and preventive care practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality
